Why no 12-team Slow drafts?

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but why are there no 12-team Slow drafts? I think these could be wildly popular for the 12-team fans here.

I agree, would much rather do a 12-team league, these 15-teamers really thin out the players in the league.
I would also like to see these slow drafts only go 30-rounds and then have waivers like the other drafts do, not sure why these have to go 50 rounds with no waivers.
Otherwise, no complaints!

I personally enjoy no waivers.I like to only have to worry about 5 or 6 teams with waivers ,not 10 or 11. But that might just be me

BUT that is the definition of the slow drafts - if you want to draft 30 rounds and have free agents, join a satellite league

The definition of slow drafts is 8-hrs to make your pick, I wouldn't think it has anything to do with whether or not the league has waivers...other than that's the way the league's are setup.
I to don't mind the fact that there are no waivers, but i also wouldn't mind the option...and I realize there are Satelite Leagues that do as I mentioned, but not too interested at the moment to do a fast draft.
A slow draft that has waivers like a fast draft?

Don't see why this can't be done in the future, just throwing some stuff out there.

The "slow" drafts (now some fast options) are Draft & Hold leagues
You can have 30 round drafts that are slow but they can't be lumped in the same category because of the prize structure for the "slow" leagues
Next year they could change terminology and then offer both (and if enough people ask for it, they will offer it)

One of the things I worry about in the NFBC is trying to do everything for everyone. It can definitely get confusing when you look at all of the different games we have on our NFBC home page. At some point, you can almost offer too much.
This year we have added several more 12-team satellite leagues and a 12-team Main Event. Many of our die-hard customers requested for these options and many felt they'd be bigger than our 15-team options. So we're offering them and adding to our list of offerings.
Now that the 15-team Slow Drafts are hot it's obvious that people would request 12-teamers. But honestly, the concept of the Slow Drafts is to draft deep teams and run your rosters without any in-season moves. I suppose we could do 12-teamers and 50 rounds, but let's get through this season first and decide if that's the best move for us. Could we create another national contest in this format? It's possible, but I'd probably only do that if I felt it was helping us expand participation in this Slow Draft format rather than just taking money from one contest to another. If this helps us grow the 12-team format, then yes we'd consider.
But again, we offer a LOT of contests already. I couldn't be happier that the Slow Draft concept has taken off and is very popular with our players. Next year, maybe a second format is possible. But let's get through this success first and if demand warrants it we can plan accordingly in 2012.

Thanks for the response Greg. I didn't really expect that 12-team Slow drafts would be an option for this year, but I do like the concept for 2013.
The Slow drafts are good fun and a GREAT way to do player research. I play the Slow 15's only because there is no 12.
To me, the 15's are just a killer when it comes to injury, especially at the top picks. They are especially killers in the Slow drafts.
I understand your concerns about having "too much" and I appreciate you adding the 12-team satellites and the XII this year. I plan to take advantage of both!
