Tips For All NFBC Owners About The Game Site

Okay, there's a lot of nice features on the NFBC game site that I know a lot of veteran NFBC owners haven't checked out in full and I know a lot of our new owners haven't seen it all, either. So I thought a very simple "How To Find It" thread on the boards would help everyone. And if veteran owners have other tips they can add that I haven't even posted, please add to this thread. I'll update this first thread with every new tip we list:
NFBC Web Site Tips
On Your Team Page
1. Changing Your Team Name: Click on your Team Link under MY TEAMS and go to SETTINGS in the green navigational bar. Then pull down to Team Info/Logo. There you can change your team name and even add a logo for your team.
2. Changing Payment Info: Again under SETTINGS, pull down to Contact Info and there you can change your Password, your mailing address or any contact info like email or phone number, and you can change your credit card info.
3. Daily Email Sends: Again under SETTINGS, pull down to Email Preferences and if you want standings emailed to you every day just click there for that team. There are other email reports you can have sent to you if you'd like for that particular team.
4. NFBC ADPs: All of the off-season Average Draft Positions generated from our online leagues can be found under Stats in the green navigational bar. Pull down to NFBC ADP and they are listed there. Those ADPs are updated as soon as any NFBC Slow Draft or Satellite League or Online Championship League is finished and is included with the entire pool of ADPs.
5. Player Stats: Also under Stats, go to Player Stats and you have every player ranked at every position with last year's MLB stats.
6. Draft Board: Each online draft will have a big draft board that you can pop up in a separate window and every pick will flow right into that draft board. It's listed under Roster in the green navigational bar and will be at the top of your draft room when you first log into the draft room. Click on that link to launch the draft board. Every player selected will have color-coded stickers by position so that you can quickly see the flow of positions being selected and what your opponents need before you make your next pick.
7. Joining The Message Boards: The login for the NFBC Message Boards are different from your game site login. You must Register separately for the NFBC boards and you DO NOT have to be an NFBC player to join the fun here. Anyone can sign up and participate in the conversations on our message boards. Just click on Register in the green navigational bar above, provide your contact info and Submit. We will then approve you and get you on the boards. If you haven't been approved yet or you forgot your login for the boards, contact Tom at [email protected].
8. # of Spots Left: We are fine-tuning a Countdown page now that will list the remaining spots in every NFBC event. That is now listed under Home, Countdown and will include tickers for the overall contests as well. When you are looking to sign up for any online event, so there to see how many spots remain.
9. Ranking Your Players: When you enter an online draft room, a default player list created by the NFBC will appear in your draft room. If you want to personalize that list instead, just go to Draft in the green navigational bar, go to Draft Prep and rank the players in your order. Save that and that list will appear when the draft room opens. You can also Import those Rankings to any future NFBC online draft with the click of a button within that area. It might take some time to get your first list right, but after that you can easily fine-tune that list and Import those to future NFBC online drafts.
10. Draft Room: The draft room opens the day of your draft, first thing in the morning. You will be able to enter that draft room after midnight of the day of your draft.
