I think someone gave too much plasma. I am sure you made lots of good friends in Vegas so happy for you. I should be in Vegas next year and something tells me you will come by and say hello. I cherish the opportunity to become acquainted.

I see Gekko joined very good. Come on we are 5 short. Greg/Tom any consideration to moving this draft back a day or two to give it a chance to fill all the way if we do not make it. I remember about 4 years ago Greg did a league with us while the opening night game was going on maybe a repeat of that? Are you all traveling or do you have to work the phones a bit?

Andy, Neal, Dan come on and join for goodness sakes...

Rocket- you got Gekko and I both here. How about you and your brother join and take my money?

I will go one better free week at a florida beach house for you or a close family member if you win the league and are one of the last 3 to sign up. I will even cover the cleaning fee.

HUGE disclaimer I have been trying to sell this thing for a year to no avail. If I can sell it before October I will and replace that with a 100 dollar outback gift certificate :)

Chest needs some more of the drug. Family vacation made him miss second weekend.

talked to Tom and he made a judgment call to try and get two leagues filled and went 12 teamer on the 2nd. I understand his logic and am looking forward to my first 12 teamer in a long while. Mark thanks for helping me try to get this filled.

ya, bummer. wanted one more 15 teamer. if i'm gonna do a 2 teamer, it would be an OLC to marry up to my shitty main event teams

thats funny, actually plasma donation is on Mondays (which I hate but the Red Cross tells me that enables them the most time to help patients) I probably had 1 too many Leinenklugels last night tho ;) was very happy w/ that online tm. My original post was wishful thinking since I'm already signed up for another satellite at that time. I'm taking Mark's $ in 2 other drafts so the allure of parting him w/ his cash is not as strong

You may cherish the opp'y to meet me Kent, (of course I'd want to meet me too  but you can't imagine how it felt when Joey & I met the Hit King !

No joking, it was such a great time, my 1st ever in Vegas...what a freakshow

Meeting the guys that I've gotten to know over the yrs (Shawn, KJ, Rick) and others that I knew of, but had not spoken w/ before like Dave Potts, the LOWTALKERS...what a supernice guy, even if he has no idea what he's talking about regarding Neil Young and his musical genius! Bumping into the KOQ, Glenn - I thought he was one of the guys in the movie industry that competes here til Greg introduced him. Speaking of Greg, the Godfather. I've been to Mecca, met Mohammed himself ;) Heard Greg got some kind of award that 2nd wkend, congrats! I'm sure he would say that he had plenty of help along the way, but he still deserves the lionshare of credit for the success of this thing called the NFBC.

Viva Las Vegas !

Hey Mark. Got to meet you face to face at the NY Main Event. I was running the clock for you guys. I thought that your picks were pretty unique and for the most part fairly sharp. I really liked the end of draft pick for that write-in SP to grab a bonus W. That shows some real heads-up thinking. Too bad you're not gonna be in the $500 league. I'd love to get a chance to go up against the Gekko! Good luck to you this year. BTW...I too was disappointed that it wound up being a 12 team league....would have preferred the 15 team format. I guess time just got too tight to fill it all the way to 15.

Thanks,Mark. FWIW.... I think you get a bad rap from a lot of guys. I enjoyed talking to you and felt you had a good feel for the player pool. BTW...I signed up for this league because it was a 15 team, not 12. Guess I was the last guy. They closed it out a few minutes after I signed up this afternoon. Got an email from Tom a little later informing me that it was a 12 teamer and asking me to confirm that I was still in. Decided to stay since I really wanted another team this year. Oh well,c'est la vie!Maybe I'll get a shot at you next year.
