Justin BURN-lander!

Justin Verlander simply DOMINATED the Rays through 8 Innings today and instead of Valverde blowing the lead for him in the 9th, Justin came out and blew the wheels off the bus himself. Was very much looking forward to the W in 2 of my big leagues...

I still can't believe what I just saw. One hitter through 8, throwing only 81 pitches. Three singles and a walk later and he's gone and gets charged with 4 runs. Unreal. I'm not watching anymore baseball today.

Though I feel for the Verlander owners, I really do, the fact that I wasn't able to draft him for any of my teams, but do have Shields and/or Rodney on a few makes this a good thing that we should all be happy about. Just trying to spread some sunshine your way my friends.

What wasn't written to me was the fact that Longoria's game-tying single was a chopper that hit in front of home plate and eluded a - you guessed it - diving Miguel Cabrera. Instead of a potential double play - with players on first and second - Verlander's gem flushed away. Get used to it Detroit fans.
