Question

Post by mattjb » Mon Apr 16, 2012 2:59 pm

I wanted to start Zobrist at 2nd base this week but I missed the deadline of that early start and have him starting as an OF.

Is there any way to move him to 2nd base? Not a huge problem just interested if it's possible and if people think we should have the flexibility to move a player within the starting line-up.

Thanks.

I will be interested in hearing others weigh in on this question. This issue may arise more this year due to the possible multiple lineup submissions on Monday. Presently, the software doesn't permit moving a locked player to another position. You need to be careful to put a player in a lineup slot that you can switch him out of if you need to at the last minute. What you want I think can only be changed manually and that isn't practical.

In our system, you're not allowed to change a player's position after the lineup deadline for that team has passed.
