David Freese is not in the lineup, a routine day of rest.....
Laughable since Freese had two days off this week because of a finger ouchie.
In the last eight days, Freese has 12 at bats. He needs rest like I need a Twinkie.
Is it possible that even the threat of an oft injured player getting hurt can take away even more at bats from a player, even if healthy?
Something to think about for draft's next year.

Re: David Freese
David Freese; 0 for 9 against Arroyo
Daniel Descalso; 7 for 12 against Arroyo
Rotoworld may call it a routine day off, but my guess is that Mike Matheny is using matchups to get a bench player (T Greene; 0-0 vs Arroyo) some AB's.
Not saying it's the right thing.............. just sayin'

GREAT STUFF, Russ!
Instead of Matheny saying, 'My guy can't hit their guy', he offers the 'rest' line.
Thanks Russ, a lot more sensicle. (I know spellchecker, I know)

I'd love a twinkie!
Sometimes I'm good and sometimes I'm bad....but I always try real hard.
