Setback for Pineda? Just heard on the radio still having shoulder weakness. Looks like he may not be back in early May now.

Sounds like Pineda has caught whatever Phil Hughes had last year. Incredible how with all their resources the Yankees can't seem to put it together when it comes to their young starting pitchers.rkulaski wrote:Setback for Pineda? Maybe the Mariners did know something when they made the trade. My point was that the Yankees repeatedly come up with these can't miss future-aces. Phil Hughes, Joba, now Pineda via trade. Through a combination of bad luck and an over-protective approach, they keep missing the mark with these guys. The one young gun that really has panned out is Ian Kennedy, after he left the Bronx, that is.TOXIC ASSETS wrote:This one doesn't have anything to do with the Yankees resources. This one is all about the Mariners having some information or a hunch on a guy and using it to their advantage to get maximum value in a trade.
