1) How many of you guys play the daily contests that are out there? I just recently started dabbling a little this week.
2) For me I think the daily games could be a complement to season-long fantasy baseball but would never replace it. I love everything about the NFBC format and I enjoy drafting and managing a team over 6 months.
3) My initial thought is that the daily games are more akin to gambling but there is obviously a good deal of skill involved too. The knowledge base that you need to compete in the NFBC will obviously help you succeed in the daily format.
4) I can see the appeal of the daily format. Do you view this as new competition for the NFBC?
The NFBC has a great product. Are there any improvements that could be made (live scoring, live draft experience, marketing, etc.) to attract some of these daily players to the NFBC?

Re: NFBC vs. daily games
Stay tuned this week and you'll see how the NFBC/NFFC is working with an industry leader on the daily games format during the season. We are the leader in season-long games, but we understand that there's more to baseball and football after Draft Day. So this week we'll announce an add-on for our players that I think you'll all like. Stay tuned.

Greg,
You always look out for us...thank you!
But please promise us that no matter how big daily games become, you will always keep the season long contests!

Re: NFBC vs. daily games
Of course. These are completely different types of contests. We know what we do best and that's live events and season long games. It's what we'll continue to do going forward and in more sports than just baseball and football. And if our customers want to play in-season games, then we want to give them a good option that includes other NFBC and NFFC members with reliable and quick payouts. We believe we can continue to excel at what we do best while still offering some options during the season that involve our NFBC community of players.poopytooth wrote:Greg,

Stay tuned. We're still working through the final details.
