Okay, let's sell out this first $125 Mid-Season League and get things ready for the draft. We'll officially have the Mid-Season Registration page live today and I've updated the draft room with a new player default list so that all of the injured players are removed. I moved the players around slightly so that you shouldn't have too much trouble finding the top players to get in the second half, but it's not an ADP listing or a Cheat Sheet. It's an updated default list that should have most of the injured players out of the Top 450.

After you've officially signed up, feel free to click on Draft, Draft Prep and move your player default list around to your liking. That will make things easier on Draft Night.

Okay, let's fill up this first $125 league, the Don Mathis $250 league (where first half stats DO COUNT), and a few other mid-season leagues. Here's the Monday, July 9th listing that has ONLY 6 SPOTS LEFT!!

Monday, July 9
$125 Pay Top 3 League, 7 pm ET
1. Shane Bates
2. Michael Hasenbalg
3. Bryan Vogel, San Jose, California
4. Dave Bristow, Poway, California
5. Grant Heydon, Birkenhead, Alabama
6. Stan Kaye
7. Steve Chenenky
8. Kris Carroll
9. Richard Kulaski

Don, we need everyone to officially sign up for these Mid-Season Leagues now that they are on the Registration page. Once you do that, then you'll have a link for this league and access to the Draft Prep. Go to Home, Registration and just click on the Don Mathis League, Submit and be good to go. I'll get everyone signed up on Monday if you don't do it over the weekend.

Registration for the Mid-Season Leagues is now open. Sign up online and let's fill a few of these up. The Don Mathis League is the only one where we use first half stats and one of the most interesting we offer all year. Jump in. The Monday, July 9th $125 League is the closest one to filling and it would be good to fill that one up this week. Who wants in?

Okay, all 11 owners are officially signed up for Monday's $125 league. Please set your KDS preferences as soon as you can and we'll pull the draft spots once we have a full league of 15 teams. I trust that we'll find four more owners for this league in the next few days. Everyone is good to go, so best of luck everyone. And if you want to draft a week from tonight, please sign up online and set your KDS preferences. FOUR MORE SPOTS TO GO!!

Re: 10 SPOTS LEFT For July 10th $250 Don Mathis League

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Tue Jul 03, 2012 12:47 pm

Okay, Monday's $125 Mid-Season league is now full and we'll run payment shortly. Please set your KDS preferences and we'll pick the draft order on Thursday. We still have several other mid-season leagues available and we can run another $125 on Tuesday or Wednesday. Sign up online if you're interested and we won't run any credit cards until the league is filled. I'd also love to run the Don Mathis League again on Tuesday if enough folks are interested. That is the only league where we use first half stats to determine the league standings. Let me know if you're interested in that one or any other mid-season league and we'll fill them up.

Here's the final lineup card for Monday's $125 Mid-Season League. Good luck everyone:

Monday, July 9
$125 Pay Top 3 League, 7 pm ET
1. Shane Bates
2. Michael Hasenbalg
3. Bryan Vogel, San Jose, California
4. Dave Bristow, Poway, California
5. Grant Heydon, Birkenhead, Alabama
6. Stan Kaye
7. Steve Chenenky
8. Kris Carroll
9. Richard Kulaski
10. kenny enfield, Sept-Iles, Quebec
11. Jim Havey, La Miranda, California
12. Marcel Bilak, Las Vegas, Nevada
13. Carrie Hilla, Napa, California
14. Matthew Shepherd, Napa, California

Come on guys, the Don Mathis is a lot of fun. First half stats count only for the 23 starting player that you use in your first lineup and then it is the same as all other leagues. This makes for a very interesting draft. Do I draft from first half stats or what I project for the second half or maybe a combination of both would work best. COME ON, LET'S FILL IT UP.

Really? The night of the All-Star Game you choose for the draft, when there are no games Wednesday or Thursday? in fact those are the two days of the year when there are no pro sports played. But let's schedule the draft the night of the All-Star Game. Brilliant. You may want to consult the sports schedule when setting draft dates next year.

We have filled this league and other Mid-Season Leagues on Tuesday during the All-Star Game, which is why we scheduled this on that date again. If NFBC owners are really into every pitch of that game and can't draft at the same time, then I apologize, but it seemed like something to do during the game.

Hey, we have a lot of Wednesday offerings and those still aren't filling. If it helps to move this league to Wednesday or Thursday and we can fill it, I'm game. But it's also possible that one Mid-Season League is all we're going to get this year as owners start preparing for football and have other daily options in the space. Sometimes you build it and they don't come. ;)
