Yes there sure are a lot of injuries. these are just the past 10 days or so........

Dan Hudson torn UCL - done for the year.
Andy at least 6-8 weeks. they will prep him for September and the playoffs.
Andre- another freaking Oblique probably 15-30 days -see you all after the break... Dodgers to bring up entire Albuquerque Squad
CC, well thats one big abductor muscle he pulled... he'll be lucky if hes back after the break.
There are more this week..
Riemold - done,
Saunders- who knows,
Buchholtz - sore throat -lol,
Beckett - shoulder (sure he'll be back soon-lol)
Dempster and Danks- out longer,
Grady S- who?, No updates to report because there he had a setback a month ago... lol
Tulo -talk of shutting him down for the year if they are out of it,
Paulino- poor guy,
Bay- poor guy,
Gardner- Will be back soon- yeah right... he needs elbow surgery probably and Yanks in denial or considering a deal and dont want to be taken to cleaners...
McCarthy- good luck owning him, his shoulder is toast...
Roy- the decline has started- between him and Lee they might win 15 games combined the rest of the way... and what as happened to Lee's pinpoint control... shoulder problem?
Marcum- Elbow- off and on the past 2 seasons, have to wonder...
Bass- shoulder
All Rockies pitchers- F..ked.... and sure hope they all don't blow out thier arms....
Jaime Garcia- good luck seeing him b4 September if at all
Longoria- Ill rest another 3 weeks, I might be ready after the break
Holland- I love the rangers throwing program- it builds arm strengh
Colby Lewis - I love the rangers throwing program- it builds arm strengh
Neftali - I love the rangers throwing program- it builds arm strengh
Ogando- we need to improve our lower body condtioning program
Henderson Alvarez- my manager was one of the best ptiching coaches- thats why we have 3 starters and a closer down and im pitching with a blown elbow too...

Stay tuned- in the year of injury, plenty more to come.... in 10 days, the next list will be just as long...
Is it me or am I wrong for thinking these high priced/overpaid guys dont know to get in shape and stay in shape. the great ones (Jeter) work out all winter.... you would think the majority would figure it out....

but at least VMART is on his way back to save the day.......

The plethora of injuries seems to mount up daily. It has become almost impossible to compete in the NFBC when so many players go down so quickly. There are many teams who have their entire bench saddled with DL players which makes it impossible to make any weekly roster moves and requires you to drop a player from your active roster if you want to acquire a free agent via FAAB. And you know what happens next....as soon as you drop an underperforming player for a free agent he will invariably light up the stat sheet the week after you drop him! :o :o

"Kevin Youkilis was removed from Friday's game in the fifth inning for an undisclosed reason". - rw
Youkilis new injury excuse ... nothing, nothing at all. Just didn't feel like playing anymore.

Chicago ... Boston would like to thank you.
