Chad Schroeder of Omaha, Nebraska is trying to make history in the NFBC this year as he currently leads both Main Events through Week 13 of the NFBC season. His Cocktails & Dreams team leads the NFBC Main Event by 156 points over John Pausma and 418 other teams, and Cocktails & Dreams jumped into the lead of the NFBC XII on Sunday and holds onto a 4.5 point lead over Bill Strickler and the 250 other teams in that competition.

If Chad were to win both overall titles, he'd win $150,000 plus his $9,600 in league prizes. He'd also win a $75,000 cash bonus for winning both overall titles. We also have a $75,000 cash bonus for anyone who can win the Classic and the Online Championship and Cocktails & Dreams is 18th overall in the Online Championship. Wow, what a year for Chad...so far!! ;)

There's a long way to go to the finish line as we all know, but great start so far Chad. Good luck to you and all of the competitors in all of our NFBC events. Now the fun begins.

And he is dominating our Super League with 131.5 points, more than 18 points in front of 2nd place. Awesome job. And in a prior post he claims his Main Event team's success is "fluky," and will never last. Classic. Never met the guy, but to be so dominant and humble with a sky-is-falling-attitude, an even rarer feat. Great job, Chad.

This is why we buy insurance for this!!! You guys have proven it can be done, but if it happens twice in three years our insurance provider might not be too happy about renewing!!! But we'll see.

The Classic-Online Championship double-double is now called "The Lindy" for Lindy Hinkelman, who won both overall championships in 2009. If Chad wins this double-double, we'll call it "The Hanging Chad." Enjoy.
