Re: Live Overall scoring

It looks like the doubleheaders today are scoring properly in Live Scoring. Let me know via email at [email protected] if you see anything out of the ordinary tonight. Thanks.

Some of you briefly saw the new Live Scoring format tonight. I've gotten some emails from a few of you already who wondered what happened. We continue to test it and iron out the final bugs which is why we didn't keep it on for very long, but with any luck this will be ready in the next day or two. We want it to work PERFECTLY when we unveil it, so we apologize for the delay, but we're close.

Just so you are aware...still bugs in the live scoring of doubleheaders. Soriano's save in the opening game of the DH yesterday showed in the live stats until the second game started. It then disappeared and was replaced by Soriano's second save. If he hadn't gone 1.1 innings in the opener I would not have noticed.

Thanks. This is the first I've heard of it. I will pass this info onto the IT department.

We are working on a few tweaks in the new Live Scoring now as well. Hopefully folks have noticed the improvements.

The new live scoring looks great!
I'm not trusting the new standings yet because the +/- don't match the total points, but that may be part of the tweaks that were talked about.
As far as up to the minute stats, game following, quickness, and presentation, this is a huge improvement.
Huge.
Good stuff!

This is one of the things being updated. From the IT department: I believe this is only the change column. The standings still update live. We know about the change column and will get that updated, but the actual standings do update.

FYI-

Tyler Skaggs started today at SP but his stats are showing up for his offense numbers and not his pitching line. He is on my bench. At least I know this isn't affecting the standings since he is on my bench.

Skaggs 0-1 (.000), 1 K

Great job with the live scoring, Greg and Co.
Live standings - the ranking column inconsistent with the total points column.

Live scoring so much faster... Just not sure if the new look is as easy on the eyes as the old look. Maybe I need to get used to it but, for example, it does seem a little more difficult to scan the page and quickly see which hitters had how many runs or RBI.

I haven't been able to get live scoring since it was revamped. It just sits there with a circle going round and round.
