MLB Tie-Breaker Games Count In NFBC Standings

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Mon Sep 24, 2012 8:04 am

We've dealt with this many times since the NFBC debuted in 2004, but just a reminder that if there is an MLB tie-breaker game needed to determine a divisional champion or a wild card spot that those stats DO COUNT in the NFBC standings. Major League Baseball considers that a 163rd regular season game and thus those stats count for those players' regular season totals and for any individual hitting or pitching title. All stats therefore count towards NFBC totals as well since we total every players' regular season hitting and pitching totals.

Also a reminder that the NFBC has one FAAB period left on Sunday night. Lineups will be set again next Monday and remain set through Wednesday and even the potential Thursday tie-breaker game(s). Good luck everyone.
