FINAL 3 DAYS!

Wow. It's been a crazy season. With everyone scrambling to find 9 pitchers who will start this week or 10 guys that can steal bases, we should reflect on this long grueling baseball season. I still have a shot at winning a few of my leagues including the Main Event, but we will see... Its not over yet! So, here is my list of unique events for the 2012 season:
You know where it all starts.... RA Dickey. The best story of the year... even if you are not a Mets fan, you have to say, in the midst of another horrible Mets season, the guy has a good shot at the Cy Young Award. A 37 year old knuckleball pitcher without a UCL. Crazy...
And then of course, the sad case of Melky Cabrera... The milk man was delivering more than milk...
And, oh yeah, there is another Cabrera who might just win the triple crown. Great season for the best hitter in baseball.
Amazing rookie season for Mike Trout. Will he be the #1 pick next year or will it be Miggy?
Biggest surprise teams - Oakland A's or Baltimore Orioles?
Biggest bust (hehe) teams - Philadelphia Phillies, LA Angels, Boston Red Sox
No hitters and perfect games... it might be easier to list the guys who DIDN'T pitch one
Biggest heartbreak - Fan dies as he falls, next to his son, trying to catch a thrown baseball from Josh Hamilton. Cannot even imagine.
Thanks Greg and Tom for another outstanding season... Hope to see you in March. (doubleheaders scoring... please!)
