C'mon, let's see some opinions here? Who is going to win the World Series and why?

I'll weigh in first and say the Tigers in 7 games. Verlander is just too good and that's 2 wins right there. If needed, you know he will be on the mound at some point in Game 7. The way Scherzer is pitching, he could be good for 1-2 wins as well. Yes, the Giants look like a team of destiny and actually I'm pulling for them slightly because I like their tenacity, but it's going to be tough. It should be a good World Series.

I hope there is a Game 6 and a Game 7 when we're in Phoenix for the Arizona Fall League Symposium. That would be fun to watch that those games as a group. See ya there.

My heart says the Tigers in 5 so I can rush the field on Monday night, but my head tells me that the defense and bullpen re-show their ugly head again and the Giants win in 6.

Lets stick with the heart on this one and say GO TIGERS!!!!!!

The Tigers should win, but they should've won in 2006. The layoff will not help. Scherzer is pitching game 4 therefore will not be around to start 2 games. Depending on how things go with weather and on the field they should go to a 3 man rotation, but they won't, Leyland is to stubborn.

Overcoming all of that I say the Tigers in 5!!!!
