Weather For Each NFBC City

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Sun Mar 12, 2006 11:11 am

Just an FYI to all NFBC participants: The forecast looks favorable for this weekend in each city, but snow is possible in New York and Chicago on Friday. It is the responsibility of each NFBC participant to make it live on Draft Day, so plan ahead if you see some iffy weather conditions. Do everything you can to get to the draft venues because the only other option is to draft off our pre-determined list and that isn't a good option.

The forecast for Tampa is 75 and sunny. The forecast for Las Vegas is continued colder than usual, but nothing like today's high of 51 and snow showers. It should be around 70 with a little rain for the weekend. New York has an 80 percent chance of rain and snow on Friday and it also has the St. Patrick's Day Parade, so anyone in the auction leagues should definitely plan ahead. Don't cut it too tight. And Chicago has rain forecast for Friday with possible snow showers.

Please take the cell phones of each Krause Publications facilitator with you and call if there are any delays. Again, we start promptly at the top of the scheduled hour in each city and we don't wait for anyone. If you're not there, we move on without you. So everyone plan on being there early because we run a very tight ship.

See ya there and hopefully the forecasts will improve a little bit. How am I going to get a tan in Vegas if it's in the 60s and cloudy? :D

White caps visible from Phoenix, so drive north could be interesting... I've always dreamed of living in Kingman.
