We are going to have a big, big crowd for the NFBC live drafts at the Bellagio Las Vegas on March 21-24, so please take care of your travel and hotel well in advance. If you've tried to book a hotel room that weekend in Las Vegas, you are noticing some heavy rates at all of the area hotels. It's going to be a busy, busy weekend and with Easter being the following weekend this is going to be the weekend of choice for most travelers.

So PLEASE take care of your travel and hotel accommodations NOW.

We do have a room block set aside at the Bellagio and rooms are available through Feb. 24th. There is NO DOUBT that the Bellagio will be sold out that weekend, so don't delay if you'd like to stay there. Our room block has barely been dented yet. I don't care if you stay there or not, but if you want to it's convenient and it's the best hotel in the city (in my mind). Plus they just lowered the weekday rates for us.

The weekday rate just dropped from $169 to $149. Weekend rates are still $239 plus a daily resort free (which gives you free Internet access and some other amenities) plus tax. Here's the code and details:

The NFBC has a special room block at the Bellagio for NFBC owners until Feb. 24 for $239 per night Thursday through Sunday (3/21-3/23), $149 on weekdays (3/22) and $134 March 26-28. Call 888-987-6667 and use the code STATS1. For the Second Weekend: The NFBC has a special room block at the Bellagio until Feb. 24 for $239 per night Thursday through Saturday (3/28-3/30) and $149 on weekdays (March 24-27). Call the number above and use Group name: NFC or Group Code: GREGAM.

Thanks all and I'll see you at the sportsbook and at the draft tables!!

One thing I'd also like to use this thread for is to have folks post any airfare deals or hotel deals other than the Bellagio for our members to stay on top of. I have no problem if folks can find the cheapest fares together through our boards or even better hotel rates for folks who don't want to stay in our host hotel. I know that some folks like nearby hotels that are just a quick walk to the Bellagio. Some folks are also comped at area hotels. Please inform folks via this thread and we'll all get to Las Vegas cheaply and effectively. Thanks all.

From what I understand, Bally's is right across the street from Bellagio and should be $350-$400 combined for Fri-Sun stay and potentially much better if you have a rewards comp card. Other Caesars/Harrahs properties that I saw are generally within $100 more or less, depending on where you like to stay.

I just booked my room at Bally's as well. I am out there for 11 days. I booked the 1st 4 nights on incentive code IBFFB. It cost me $112 Wednesday the 20th, $124 Thursday, $159 Friday and $120 for Saturday. I booked the South Tower 2 queens package which is a little more than the cheapest rooms that they have but am splitting the cost. You can go to totalrewards.com and take a look at all of the Harrahs properties even if you don't have a reward card and plug in incentive. I think the Quad is the cheapest one out there. (the old Imperial Palace). I got the next 7 nights from Sunday 24th through Saturday the 30th for I think $380 total using promo code SEMI13. A lot of the Harrahs casinos don't have that code available for a lot of the first weekend dates. I too like Bally's because of its proximity to the Bellagio. Jon Stadtmueller

Thanks Jon for the insight here. Our room block has ended at the Bellagio and despite everything I tried to do, there's no more sales at the Bellagio. Today the lowest we could get was $294 a night on Thursday and Friday of First Weekend. The Thursday rooms are the most expensive that weekend because of March Madness. It's going to be crazy.

The Bellagio has been great with the rooms and our rep did help some folks last week, but right now they know they are going to sell out and these last rooms they have left aren't going cheaply. Time to look around if the Bellagio is too expensive for that weekend. Thanks all and good luck with your travels.
