Las Vegas On Friday

This is for everyone who is coming to Las Vegas this weekend for the NFBC: We do not officially have a Friday night drink-fest/speaker planned like we did last year, but I do plan on wheeling in a bar to Salon 6 on Friday at 3 p.m. to feed my hungry auction participants who are doing the doubleheader. I've got some food ordered for those guys who are doing the Auction League at 9 a.m. and again at 4 p.m. and I figured they would need to wash that down with something. So the bar is open at 3 p.m. and just be kind enough to let those guys have the first drinks.
That room will stay open for anyone who wants to come in, register ahead of time and sit around and talk baseball. I'll probably pop in around 4 p.m. and have a few drinks. It's a cash bar, but you'll enjoy the companionship and you might even meet a few guys in your league. And I might even buy one before the night's over.
Anyways, join me at the STardust Salon 6 Friday afternoon if you'd like to get together and I'll see you there. You can even buy me a beer on Friday since I'm buying a few on Saturday!
Just be courteous and let the 4 p.m. auction league guys check in first, so that we can get those four leagues started on time. Should be a great, great weekend out here.
Oh, and while the temperature is a cool 65 here today, the sky is blue, the town is hopping and our own March Madness is ready to kick off for the third straight year. Where is everyone??? I'm ready!!!
I'll be out of touch these next two days running our Fantasy Sports Trade Conference as tomorrow we have Dave Stewart and Mike Pagliarulo speaking at our awards banquet. Then Thursday we have panels all day until our expert league drafts begin at 5 p.m. I'm not competing, just watching and sipping, so come on down and join me for one if you're in the area. See ya all then and have a safe trip out West.
