Slow draft options
Slow draft options
Shouldnt be a big deal or hard to accomplish, but why not offer a few flavors of drafts. last year we had the Fast 50 Slow draft, done in one night. Offer a 10 day draft with 4 hrs bewtwen picks, the current 8 hr one, maybe a 2 hr 5 day one and let people choose what they feel they can commit too.... Its all a matter of a computer clock.... Throw some options out there for people. with close to a 100 slow drafts going to happen this year, if not more, there should be some choices for everyone.

Re: Slow draft options
I've already said that if folks want East Coast DC Leagues, West Coast DC Leagues, 4 Hour DC Leagues, One Night DCs that we'll accommodate them. We are still in the heart of the fantasy football season, so there's been no call for any of these yet. I trust as we get closer to baseball season that folks will ask for these and of course we'll accommodate them. Each setup is easy for us to make happen as long as it starts on the Message Boards. These leagues are automated now, so we just need to fill them on the boards and then get everyone signed up at the same time to get us to 15 at once. But yes, we can do them.Outlaw wrote:Shouldnt be a big deal or hard to accomplish, but why not offer a few flavors of drafts. last year we had the Fast 50 Slow draft, done in one night. Re: Slow draft options
Greg: Do you have the capability to do a slow draft with two different time limits ( e.g., two or four hours during the day and evening and eight or even six hours in the middle of the night)?
I would be very interested in a slow draft with a four-hour (or shorter) time limit but would not want to have to get up in the middle of the night to make a pick. (My wife is very understanding but there are limits to her patience.). If this could be done, I'd be ready to sign-up now.
Thanks.
Mike

Re: Slow draft options
No, that's not possible. We set one time limit between picks and that goes for all hours of the day. 4 hours can be done throughout all 50 rounds if you round up 15 guys who like that time frame. Learning to use 1 Round Auto would be key there.Mike wrote:Greg: Do you have the capability to do a slow draft with two different time limits ( e.g., two or four hours during the day and evening and eight or even six hours in the middle of the night)?

Re: Slow draft options
Greg - Gotcha. Thanks for the response. Let's give it a try. I just signed up for a $150 slow draft. How about we see if we can 14 other teams signed up for a four-hour limit draft? If it does not fill up, I'll probably ask you to move me over to one of the normal eight-hour limit drafts, but hopefully that won't be necessary.
