Greg/Tom,
In Slow Draft 2, Team Meslener (James Meslener) took a Placeholder in Round 49. He didn't post or email anyone who he was selecting. I asked him to provide the name in the chat log, and his response was "what"

I then explained that I assumed he picked a player that was not in the player pool, and that he needed to post the player's name. The owner left the draft room.

I followed it up with an email, and still no response.

My guess is the owner thinks he can select a player sometime in the future to fill the Placeholder slot. Just a guess, Can you reach out to him and ascertain his pick and let us know. thanks.

I reached out to him to find out who the pick is and asked him to type it in the chat as well.

The player is obviously new. I'm in that draft and he also was off line after he made the pick, so he didnt see any messgaes and possibly emails. As Gekko said he did say he didnt know what a place holder was... sounds like an honest mistake....

He is new, he explained at the start of the draft that this was his first foray into NFBC competition.
