There are five finalists for Best Fantasy Live Event, including the NFL for their debut kickoff event in Manhattan that included Roger Goodell and was carried on the NFL Network. That should be a very interesting category this year.
This is the first time that the NFBC has been a finalist in the Best Fantasy Contest category, which is an honor in itself. When you consider all of the many different games in this industry, to be one of six finalists for this award is very rewarding. Other finalists include folks from the daily fantasy games area, the NFL for their pick perfect game, FootballGuys.com for their great online football contest, and even an old veteran like Jeff Barton's Scoresheet Sports. Again, this is great competition.
And we're happy to report that our NFBC Draft Champions National Championship is a finalist for Most Innovative Fantasy Contest. This "draft 'n hold" market has really exploded under this concept and we're glad to lead the way. There are four worthy finalists in this category and we're proud to be one of the innovators of new products. Good luck to everyone in this category.

Winners of the FSTA Industry Awards will be announced at the FSTA Winter Conference on Jan 22 at The Mirage Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Tom and I will both be present there and we look forward to tipping a few cold ones with our industry brethren.
