8 SPOTS LEFT For Midwest Draft Champions League

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Fri Jan 11, 2013 10:11 am

I think it makes sense to create a new Signup List for our unique Draft Champions Leagues that are filling up on the Message Boards. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THESE ONLINE!! To get into any of these leagues, just email me at [email protected] or post your intentions on this thread. I'll gather the names of the interested participants and then sign everyone up once we get a full 15 owners. Thanks.

The goal of these is to create leagues with like-minded individuals as far as the time it takes to make picks and maybe even with folks in the same general living area. If it helps move any of these leagues along faster or makes the experience more enjoyable then I'm all for it. So here are the available leagues we have for you in 2013:

NFBC Draft Champions Express
15 teams, 50 rounds, 1 minute per pick
Friday, Jan. 18th, 8 pm ET
1. Neal Moses (if at 8 pm)
2. Darryl Houston Smith

The second offering is a Faster Draft Champions League. This one is 4 hours per pick instead of 8 hours per pick. Know how to use 1 Round Auto and don't sleep in!! We'll start this after Jan. 15th if we get 15 folks signed up.

$150 NFBC Faster Draft Champions League #1
15 teams, 50 rounds, 4 hours per pick
Starts After Jan. 15th once we get 15 teams
1. Michael Mager
2. Young Kim
3. Mark Srebro
4. Sam Botnick
5. Lee Jupinka
6. Bryan Vogel
7. Rob Giese
8. Bill Strickler
9. George Kleemann
10. Mike McElroy
11. Ryan Tollefson
12. Andy Saxton
13. Mike Cameron
14. Bruce Bevacqua
15. Dave Shovein

$150 NFBC Faster Draft Champions League #2
15 teams, 50 rounds, 4 hours per pick
Starts After Jan. 17th once we get 15 teams
1. Martin Lowy
2. John Haskell

This next option is to try and encourage more picks per night for those drafters in the same time zone. So let's set up an East Coast NFBC Draft Champions League and a West Coast Draft Champions League. These are 8 hours per pick, but with folks in the same general area of the country. Hopefully this will speed up some nightly picks as folks gather during similar hours. So here are the two signup lists for those:

NFBC East Coast Draft Champions League
15 teams, 50 rounds, 8 hours per pick
Starts After Jan. 15th once we get 15 teams

NFBC Midwest Coast Draft Champions League
15 teams, 50 rounds, 8 hours per pick
Starts After Jan. 15th once we get 15 teams
1. Tom Burniski
2. Jason Perkins
3. Tim Haider
4. Ryan Cooley
5. Matt Anderson
6. Ryan Gray
7. Jody Earley

NFBC West Coast Draft Champions League
15 teams, 50 rounds, 8 hours per pick
Starts After Jan. 15th once we get 15 teams
1.

All of these leagues are part of the NFBC Draft Champions National Championship and the $10,000 grand prize. Owners are just compiling their teams in different ways. Hopefully this helps us grow the format and helps all of you owners looking to do more DC leagues this off-season. Let the signups begin and remember to do them on this thread or via email to me. With all of these leagues now automated, we need to sign everyone up at a certain time to form these special leagues. We'll show you how once we reach 15 names on any of these lists. Thanks all and ENJOY!!

Here's one more unique DC draft:

It is a $150, 50 Round Draft, 8 Hour Clock (for sleep only)
We are looking for a well paced draft with Message Board contributions.

1. Dan Kenyon
2. Joe Berg
3. Stan Kaye
4. Mark Bendar
5. Rich VanFleet
6. Emory Upchurch
7. Mike Massotto
8. Roger Martin
9. Mark Down
10.Ryan Carey
11.Mark Srebro
12.Bill Cleavenger
13.Jeff Kent
14. Don Dismuke
15.Ken Little

Somebody asked me to create a regional DC thread, but I already had this one within this Forum. The closest regional draft to fill is the Midwest one, with 9 SPOTS LEFT!! Who else wants in?

Bump this up - are we going to fill this thing or what??

Also, we have a list going for the draft - 8 hours for a pick but only during sleep hours.
