A Little Something Special...

The draft order for a very special tribute draft in honor of NFBC veteran, Roger Martin's daughter, Mia was held live in Florida this evening and posted to YouTube for all of the league owner's viewing pleasure. It's a little over four minutes of video that I thought some of you who might need to smile and to feel good about something today would like to see just in case you don't follow Doughboy's Stuff on the boards. Mia, as you may or may not recall, went through not one but two surgeries for brain tumors (which were thankfully benign) this past fall during what ended up being one of Dan Kenyon's most memorable email drafts of all time. Enjoy.

As I mentioned on Dan's thread. The best 4 minutes I have had in a very long time. Having a son, Mia's age, I cannot imagine having to go through this. This video is so cute, so inspiring... it will make you smile.

Best youtube video I've seen in a long, long time.
Alan's right. Guaranteed to make you smile.
And you're right also, Mike. "Daaaaady!" is the highlight.
Great stuff.

Very nice! She looks great, Roger. I recall my girls at that age....they thought Daddy was cool and loved going to ballgames (especially Cape Cod league where they could run around and ice cream would follow). All the best to you and your family.

Yes, very nice. My daughters are 4 and 6 so very close to home. I think all the NFBC draft order selections should be done this way. Also, video forced me to slow down a bit. Just a dad and his little girl sitting together and picking a draft order. Simple. Sweet.
