SOLD OUT 4-Hour Draft Champions League
Posted: Tue Feb 05, 2013 10:09 am
by Greg Ambrosius
Okay, it looks like we've had good success for those owners who like the 4-Hour Draft Champions format between picks. Since the 3rd one is moving along nicely, I thought it would make sense to start up a signup thread for another one. This one will start shortly after it fills, so plan accordingly.
This is the same format as every other Draft Champions League except the time is set for 4 hours per pick rather than 8 hours per pick. The same league prizes and the chance to win the $10,000 grand prize are still in effect. Just the time between picks has changed. PLEASE DON'T SIGN UP ONLINE FOR THIS ONE!! Just email me at
[email protected] or post your intentions on this thread and we'll form this league after it's full. Thanks everyone.
Here is the details and the current signup list:

Since the 8 hour for sleep only one seems to have no interest, I'll go for this one.
Jason Perkins
Thanks!

If I'm going to spend $150 to not sleep at night, it's not going to be on fantasy football!
Seriously, if you sleep 7+ hours a night, you'll have to auto pick all night...unless you set your alarm clock every 4hrs, don't think the wife would enjoy that! lol
I must admit, there are some big names in this league I'd love to take down, just don't have $150 to throw away...I'd have no problem making my picks quickly during the day or evening, but kind of like to sleep at night...GL

I did one of the early four-hour drafts, perhaps the first one. I never had to wake-up in the middle of the night to draft. Yes, I did use auto pick a number of times but not when the draft was too far away from me. All it takes is for a couple folks to put some players in their queues but not go on auto and you get through the middle of the night pretty easily. I loved doing the four-hour draft. We finished the one I did in about 7-8 days, as opposed to 2-3 weeks (or longer). What I liked best about was that you seem to have the most dedicated owners participating. Folks were considerate to one another. There was a lot of chatting going on because folks were in the draft room more often, and there were no absentee owners that grinded the draft to a halt on a regular basis. In case you can't tell, I'm very much looking forward to doing another one.

Couldn't agree more. Just finished one was probably the longest of the 4 hour ones and it only took 9 days and the experience was 100 fold over the normal slow drafts as picks are always being made and someone will always text you when you are up if needed. The 1 round auto que was made for this league, if you refuse to use it then you are right this league probably isn't for you. Looking forward to getting started let's get this thing filled up already.

if you are looking for a quicker pace, MUCH better baseball talk, these are the best draft champion leagues by far. 8 hour leagues dont even compare.
