70 Seconds Per Pick In NFBC Online Leagues

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Fri Feb 22, 2013 8:44 am

As we head into the online drafting season, we need to point out that we have decreased the time per pick this year from 75 seconds to 70 seconds. It's not a huge difference and it's still longer than a minute per pick, but at 360 picks or 450 picks per league, it saves a little time. Please be ready to draft a player when it's your turn.

Our first week of online drafts have seen a lot of teams taking their full time per pick, which is okay. But one tip is to use the Que during the draft so that you can put certain players aside that you like. Then when your turn is up, those players are right there at the top waiting for you to make a pick.

Also, you can create your own player default list by going to your team link, going to Draft in the green navigational bar and pulling down to Draft Prep. There you can see the default player list that will show up in your draft room. By moving players into the position you want, your own player default list will show up in the draft room. And that list will carry over to every single online draft after that, so you can tweak it from time to time. It takes some time to change the list initially, but after that you can easily adjust your own player default list.

Good luck everyone and let's keep these online drafts moving. It's more fun when everyone is prepared and ready to pick. This year you get to do that in 70 short seconds!! ;)
