Damn, I forgot that we were going to try and have a Live Chat each Tuesday afternoon. It's still Tuesday afternoon, but it's a bit late to get this one started. Oh well.

Hey, if you have a question or comment for Tom or I, feel free to post it here today. We'll make sure that we either answer it overnite or set an hour aside tomorrow morning at 10 am ET to answer these. There's a lot to talk about now, so feel free to post your questions here.

Now, you could ask about:
** Our upcoming STATS Fantasy Advantage show, featuring Shawn Childs, Al Williams and Billy Wasosky.

** or about our strategy in this weekend's LABR AL and NL Auctions. Shawn and I will be in Phoenix for those two auctions.

** or about the BLOWOUT NFBC Draft Champions leagues (nearing 100 leagues now)

** or about selling out the NFBC Main Event for the 9th straight year

** or about Bryce Harper's rising value or Curtis Granderson's sinking value!!

There's a lot to talk about, so go ahead and get us started. Thanks all.

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A LOT MORE MONEY GOING TOWARDS INDIVIDUAL LEAGUE WINNERS IN SLOW DRAFT DC, THEN PUTTING IT TOWARDS OVERALL WINNER, LOT MORE PEOPLE WOULD BENEFIT, I KNOW SOME IS GOING THERE BUT 1500 TO 2000 FOR LEAGUE WINNER SEEMS FAIR, OVERALL WINNER IS LIKE WINNING THE LOTTERY AND ITS HIGHLY UNLIKELY

Well, at season's end we can definitely look at everything that worked and everything that didn't work. Something worked here, that's for sure.

First of all, only $2,250 is generated from each $150 DC league and we pay back $1,800. So moving first place to $1,500 or $2,000 isn't possible, unless you want no overall prize and very little second and third league prize. Right now we are paying $1,500 of the $1,800 allocated -- or 83.3% of the prize money -- to the league prizes. It's $1,000 for first place, which is almost 7 times your entry fee, plus you have a shot at more overall prizes. So I really do think we are putting a lot of money towards the league prizes right now, but I guess we always could give more. But again, you have to do the math to see that right now at $1,000 for first place and $1,500 overall we are giving a lot of money to the league prizes.

If there's one thing I might look at next year, it's the $375 prize pool. Right now the top 3 finishers each earn $1,400, which is a nice lure. But maybe as we get into February and March, we should run $375 DCs with like prizes of $3,300, $700, $350. That might be interesting and alluring for some owners.

I HEARD U PLANNED ON PUSHING THE OVERALL TITLE TO 15,000 THIS YEAR BECAUSE OF GREAT TURNOUT BUT HOW MUCH WILL GO TO 1ST, 2ND, 3RD PLACE IN INDIVIDUAL LEAGUES, KNOWING WHAT U KNOW NOW, SINCE LEAGUES ARE STILL FILLING AT A RAPID PACE, WILL IT GO UP AT ALL THIS YEAR

No, the additional revenue is going to the overall prize pool. So again, that's 300 for each additional league. If we get to 100 leagues, that's an additional $9,000 to the overall prize pool. If you spread that out over 100 leagues, you'd add $90 per league. It wouldn't make much of a dent at all. Instead, we are spreading that over to the top grand prize and the rest of the overall prizes, hopefully going beyond Top 10 because we have so many more teams in the competition now.

Hey, we want as many people to benefit from the growth as the next guy, but again, we are already giving out 83.3% to the league prizes and the remainder helps us grow a modest overall prize pool, which, thanks to 100 leagues is growing every day.

OURSELVES!!

Everyone is good in LABR, they really are. Glenn Colton and Rick Wolf have won like 3 LABR titles and they use the same type of strategy we use (stars and scrubs). They are very good at in-season trades and moves, too. Nate Ravitz of ESPN.com has finished 2nd in AL more times than anyone else. He's like me, he hasn't won a title yet. But he's close and he finished a half-point ahead of us last year. Steve Gardner of USA Today is very good, too.

But Shawn has won 4 AL and NL NFBC auction titles here and he's relentless. We just have to be smarter on Starting Pitchers this year and we'll win one of these. I do think we can win one of these LABR titles this year. Shawn is more prepared than ever and I can handle my Corona's better than ever, so we make for a GREAT team. ;)
