1 SPOT LEFT IN CHICAGO MAIN EVENT

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Tue Mar 05, 2013 10:55 am

It's getting to that time of year now where we finalize each city and plan accordingly. Chicago is getting closest to full leagues in all three events, so it's time to call out the Windy City today!! Plus it's snowing there and everyone is ready to think about sunshine and baseball!! :D

Okay, we now have 29 owners for the Chicago Main Event on Saturday, March 30th. We need one more signup for two full leagues!! We would love to have 3 full leagues here in Chicago, but right now we have just one guaranteed spot left. Who wants it?

We have a full Auction League on Friday night, so we're good there. We won't expand on that.

In the NFBC XII, we have partial leagues on Friday and Saturday night. We have ONLY 3 SPOTS LEFT for the NFBC XII on Saturday night after the Main Event. Let's fill that one up and be done with it. If anyone from the Main Event wants to do a Main Event doubleheader, let me know. We can waive your Events Fees and co-manager fees for both events if you want to add a team there.

We also have 5 of 12 spots filled for the NFBC XII on Friday night. We'll hook up with another city if needed to fill this league, but let's try to get it done by itself in the Windy City. This would be the first time we've added an NFBC XII on Friday night, so that's good news. Thanks all and with 3+ weeks to go we can easily fill all of these live events.

If you need help with a room at the Chicago Marriott, let me know. I heard the front desk was having trouble finding our room block code this weekend, but I made a call to my hotel rep and we should be good there now. Let's get folks in early that weekend and enjoy a few beers together. Dean Peterson will again be your STATS host in Chicago and he's looking forward to seeing everyone again. Let us know if you need anything ahead of time and we'll help out where we can. This is a pretty new hotel and the facilities look great.

Okay, here's the current signup list for Chicago. Let's fill up that 2nd Main Event there and have some fun!! Thanks all and enjoy.

Re: 7 SPOTS LEFT IN CHICAGO 3/29 NFBC XII

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Mon Mar 11, 2013 10:57 am

Okay, we are pleased to announce that we now have 2 full leagues in Chicago for the NFBC Main Event on Saturday, March 30th at noon CT. We're not shutting this city off, but anyone who signs up going forward in the Windy City needs to bring a lot of friends with them!! Otherwise, we will hook these next participants up with another city or online if that's the way we have to go. But thanks all for filling up 2 leagues.

We now have in Chicago:

2 full Main Event Leagues
1 full NFBC XII on Saturday, March 30th at 6 pm CT
1 full NFBC Auction League on Friday, March 29th

We also have an NFBC XII on Friday night in Chicago. We have 5 owners there. I know we can hook them up with Las Vegas, but we also have plenty of time to fill up both cities on their own. Let's do it. 7 SPOTS LEFT FOR THE NFBC XII IN CHICAGO ON FRIDAY, MARCH 29TH!!! Thanks all.

Greg:

We decided to play in the NFBC XII later the evening in place of two Mains. The value
in playing the NFBC XII is simply to good to pass up with the guarantee you are providing for that
format.

We are sure CHITOWN will see out, those NFBC XII leagues should be where the smart
money shows up over the next week or two. Best investment on the board.

Greg:

Appears the NFBC host hotel hits pretty hard to park your car at the draft site.
If you are staying at the hotel, $26 per day and if you are just in for the drafts and leaving
it is between $11 - $16.

Will the "Event Fees" be covering this additional charge? If memory serves, at
Citi Field we were welcomed in without having to pay additional on draft day. Didn't know
if you were aware of the parking rates. Seemed that it was a major complaint on Hotels.com
for those that chose this hotel. Thanks

They are getting us a special rate on parking. I'll reach out and get that info again. Thanks.

Parking is $5 for NFBC customers at the Marriott O'Hare. If you need any help with that, let me know, but they will honor this for our customers. Thanks all and enjoy.

$5? That's cheaper than Scott Kazmir in the auction!
