Smart Ass Q&A With Greg & Tom Today

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Fri Mar 08, 2013 10:16 am

Okay, everyone looks a little giddy today, so I figured I'd put a giddy headline together!! Once Jupinka starts the day out with photos and smart-aleck comments, the whole class goes to hell. He's like the rabble rouser in 3rd grade who gets the whole class to go crazy once he fires the first spitball!! So let's all go crazy today.

Once upon a time a long, long time ago, Tom and I were known as content guys. We wrote player profiles. We started our rankings in November and were ahead of the curve. We edited multiple magazines and got previews from top writers well before anyone else started on baseball. Our opinions actually held some weight on these message boards. ;)

Now all of that has changed. When we start up a Live Chat it's tough to get 10 questions. Heck, I don't even run my own LABR teams, Shawn steamrolls me!! 8-) So I'm throwing a curveball today. Tom and I will be LIVE around 2 pm ET today and we're here to take your crazy questions about the NFBC, the industry in general, our plans for Las Vegas together hosting a draft for the first time, etc. And heck, we'll even take player questions or questions about our LABR teams.

It's a "Smart Ass Session With Greg & Tom." Pictures are welcomed. Just keep it clean.

Okay, start the questions coming and we'll jump in at 2 pm ET...or ahead of time if needed to squash any damn rumors about us!!! BRING IT ON AND LET'S SEE WHAT YOU'VE GOT!!

Question for both Greg and Tom:

It's 82 degrees and sunny on Thursday, March 21st at 12 noon. The NCAA viewing party doesn't start for 4 hours.

Are you at the Sportsbook, or the pool?

Also, under these circumstances, where will Dennis be?

Why can't we go to both? Hit the Sportsbook first, then hit the pool or vice versa. :)

We have to hit the sportsbook first to get all our bets in. I'll be at the pool by 9 am then dude. YOU KNOW THAT!!

Denny and the other Ambrosius will be poolside as well, protecting me from the ladies. We have to pool it at this hour before any online drafts start or the party begins. Hey, our teams we bet on during the early games can win without us seeing them do so, right? ;)

This one is for Greg. Do you intend to bring any other shirts to Vegas outside of a red STATS polo? :D

I rocked at Pong back in the day. Has to be me.

And how sweet would our office be if we had a Pong machine here.

Greg and Tom,
Is the office atmosphere in Iola like Michael and Jim on 'The Office'
Or more like Andy and Barn on 'The Andy Griffith Show' ?

Aside from the constant bitching, whining, and complaining, what is your least favorite part of the job?

Greg:

For the 10th Anniversary, you've been invited to skydive into the Grand Canyon
With Brian Cashman. Cash informs you that you are allowed to bring two guests. This is
easy for you. Shawn Childs is a given and you can't get anybody else to agree to jump out
A plane. Therefore, Tom is told if he wants to see Vegas, he must join the group.

When you reach maximum altitude, Cashman informs you that he has a problem. Looks
Like they only packed three parachutes and he is taking the first. It falls on you on how to
Distribute the other parachutes. Will Shawn figure out how to get everybody to the groud
Safely? Will you give Tom a parachute and ride Shawn's back to safety? Is Tom simply the odd
Man out?

Thanks, Shawn's Ball Busting Pal from Jersey

Ps- you asked for Smart Ass!
