March Madness Bracket Pool??

tons of nfbc/nffc signing up so far..we have 16 officially signed up(some taking two entries) and I received requests for invites for another 10 more...this is definitely going to hit 50 entries in my opinion or more which means..a nice $1K for first hopefully.

you only have to sign up once(as you did). You will just have the option to create a 2nd bracket once brackets are announced. Its straight forward...you will basically be able to create a Ken Magner 1 and Ken Magner 2. The site will stop you from doing anymore than 2. They do a nice job of running NCAA pools.

on another note: i have been in private brackets at cbs and i really like the scoring option that awards extra points for an underdog. the one we have used for a few years now is you get 1 point for the win plus add the seed number.
so the example would be is that if a 12 seed beats anyone it would 12 pts plus 1 point = 13 points. if you are number 1 seed you would get 1 pt for winning and adding your seed number which is also 1 then the total would be 2.
it really rewards you for picking underdogs.
in later rounds then they also increase the points per round.
that might not the exact precise answer as to how it works but that is the idea.
to me it is so much better than the standard scoring which does not reward you for picking underdogs.

hey larry....just sent you invite...payment info is on the site once you join. yeah i have to send the invite from the site as its not working for some reason having to do it manually by searching for group and entering password.

As for scoring system....yeah I hear ya about the underdog bonus.....but already decided to go standard scoring and have 20 people signed up on that assumption so I cant change it now. IT does have higher points for picking correct teams in later rounds. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks! Andy
