SOLD OUT: MARCH 23RD MAIN EVENT!!

by Greg Ambrosius
We could have played it conservatively and stopped the signups at 150 teams during the First Weekend of the Main Event, but we didn't expect the Las Vegas Main Event to stop at 7 leagues. Now that we have 7 full leagues there in Las Vegas, we have one partial league left Online that needs to be filled. And we think we can do it.

As you can see from the list below, we have 105 teams in Las Vegas. There is one team that may switch to Online, so if anyone wants to still draft in a full league in Las Vegas, please contact me at [email protected] or sign up online shortly. I know we can make it work. And we'll continue to take signups until we can fill up this final March 23rd Online League. We have 51 owners Online and two owners who may move to that spot. So it's possible we're down to 7 spots left (we're still talking with 2 owners). Anyway, we're getting to 165 teams and 11 Main Event leagues for the First Weekend, so plan accordingly!! We won't be denied!! 8-)

Here's the current signup lists. Remember, draft spots will be announced for full leagues on Saturday at 1 pm ET and in less than 9 days we'll be drafting. What a great kickoff to the 10th anniversary season!! Thanks all.

Okay, this morning we are going to announce the 10 full Las Vegas and Online NFBC Classic Main Event leagues and draft spots. We have a perfect 7 full leagues in Las Vegas right now, 105 owners. We have 54 owners in the NFBC Main Event Online right now, leaving us with 3 full leagues and 9 spots in a 4th league. We have several owners interested in joining the Main Event on Saturday, March 23rd, so I know we will fill that one up. But we won't be able to announce the draft spots for that one just yet. It could fill tomorrow or even Monday as some owners have to check with work or family. But we will get draft spots announced in a reasonable time for those owners and we will finish the First Weekend with 11 full leagues. Just hang in there a bit all and we'll get it done, I promise.

So look for the draft spots for the other Main Event leagues in the next hour or so. Tom and I are putting those leagues together now and will be pushing the KDS button soon for each one. Draft spots haven't been determined yet, but leagues sure have. Good luck all and your Christmas presents are coming soon. 8-)

Okay, 5 signups came in today for the March 23rd Main Event Online, so we're staying patient with this one. None of these guys were even on our radar before today, so the owners we expected to jump in are still out there and getting approval!! ;) So just hang in there and we'll have this one locked down soon enough. Thanks for your patience everyone and First Weekend is looking like a perfect mix for the NFBC Classic: 7 full Las Vegas leagues, 4 full Online leagues. Thanks all.

Now, who wants these final spots for the chance to win $100,000 AND a $6,500 league prize?
