Anyone else have these 3 guys on their staff? Note: this is a DC league, 50 man roster.
J. Santana: hurt for year, career maybe over
P. Hughes: put on DL recently, back problem
C. Billingsley: all indications were he would be ready for opening day, now it looks like DL

Also- among the reserves: D. Hudson on DL until mid season, Z. Britton sent to minors, S. Diamond on DL

I know I should not rely so heavily on veterans, but are you kidding me? Did anyone else figure on Santana not even throwing a pitch this season? If some of these guys don't get back soon I could be starting fantasy football prep by June 1.

It's even worse than I thought. Logged on to set first lineup of year and discovered that Henderson Alvarez of Miami is also now on the DL. I am able to field only 3 healthy starting pitchers at this time. Could be a LONG year!

Imagine what Brian Cashman feels like!
