Inherited Runners

Has anybody actually seen an inherited runner not score this year? MLB bullpens are so bad...especially "middle" relief. I have yet to have a starter leave a game with runners on and not have them brought in by these crummy bullpens. And if you have a 1 run lead with more than one inning to go, you are not getting that win. The state of bullpens in today's game is so terrible it's nearly a zero percent chance the game's not getting tied at some point. We'll never see another 300 game winner, it's so hard to win a close game relying on the bullpen anymore.

Watch the Braves. I think this year so far (knock on wood), the Braves bullpen has allowed only one inherited runner to score.
On the 300 games, it amazes me that we ever had 300 game winners. How many pitchers have 15 year careers? And if you had a starter with a 15 year career, he would have to average 20 wins a season. Hard to imagine.

Knew the Jawja peach would've noticed this

I sure did.
When I saw Teheran was getting lit up again I thanked the fantasy gods that one of my leaguemates snatched him up before me (at the time I was not so happy). Watching the ticker at the bottom on ESPN it showed the # of ER the Braves bullpen had given up after young Julio left the game: 0, as Wayne said they've been stellar. And after sweeping the Nats (and making it look ez) they look like the best team in MLB.
While we're ranting did you catch the Phils last night. For all you Hamels owners get a bucket to vomit in. First Mayberry slips and falls and turns an easy out into a double. Then Yadier comes up and promptly hits a FOUL ball that the Magoo-like umpire called fair and brought home 2 ER. The Phils lost the game 4-3.
If they can have instant replay on HR's why not on fair/foul ? We need more instant replay NOW. PLEASE. FOR CRISSAKES. GET THE CALL RIGHT.

Milone leaves with runner on 3rd,2outs. They bring in Neshek. That idiot throws a wild pitch...another earned run for Milone. This game will drive you crazy.

Thank you Jason Frasor...2 more runs for Holland. Maybe it's just my teams, but it's every pitcher I have. Every time I need a middle reliever to get one lousy out, he has to give up the hit that brings everybody on base in before he gets the out.
Perhaps I should only take Atlanta pitchers since their bullpen is apparently the only one that can stop this nonsense.
