Put in a few light bids, but nothing close to what it took to get him.

I went triple digits in some leagues, mainly where I had Reyes. Full knowledge that I'm overpaying and he isn't that good, but I can't stomach having Steve Lombardozzi and Ruben Tejeda on my rosters.

Hoping I stole him for $54 on Pollos Main team, most other bids I saw were upwards of $80+; didn't even see him go for less than $60 in many 12-teamers.

Bid $32 and was not even the runner-up.
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.
