All we ask for is timely updates so we can set our lineups on Monday....thanks YOUK!! But I blame myself, I've been down the bad back road before and I should have known better...no matter what the updates said...that on turf, in the sun, on a hot summer day....he just wasn't going to play...THIS WEEK!
YOUK TIMELINE:
Mon 9:50am..."Youk expected to return"...ok-he's in the lineup-hope I get a better update before game time...
Mon 3:41pm.."Youk in Lineup"...OK good enough for me...
Mon 6:21pm.."Youk scratched"...Darn kids and their Softball games on weeknights!!!!
Tues 9:18am....I didn't even need to read this one..."Youk to miss more time" No worries Youk I'll have you out of my lineup way before you come back and have a huge weekend...its just what we do!

I feel like a complete moron for drafting this guy. Of course he played yesterday so they can't back-date the DL stint now.

Kevin Youkilis (back) believes he'll be ready to return from the disabled list when he's first eligible.

Youkilis says he's dealing with a bulging disc and some inflammation. While he hasn't resumed baseball activities yet, he's optimistic that an epidural injection will get him back on track. Jayson Nix will continue to fill in at third base for now and makes for a solid pickup in AL-only fantasy leagues.
