Harper - Trout - Who would you rather have this year now?

Who would you rather have for the rest of this year? I was re-reading the Harper vs. Trout Debate post from last year... Most posters felt Harper would be overmatched and Trout would be the far better player long term and for this 2013 season. Most had Harper being sent back to the minors. Few, if any, thought he would win ROY. Most felt he would not be drafted that high this year. Some said they would never touch him, he was just all hype. A lot said he couldn’t and wouldn’t hit lefties and his swing was full of holes.

Not many had much to say about Harper that was positive... and here we are now 1 month in 2013 and there's not too fantasy owners who don't wish they had Harper now...even over Trout..

What I saw, was hustle, maturity, power, speed and a passion to play ball that only a few can and will ever match.

2013 So Far

Harper: AB 80 Avg-.363 R-16 HR-9 RBI-18 SB-1

Trout: AB 92 AVG-.272 R-13 HR-2 RBI-11 SB-4

It does appear, barring an injury by either of them, that Harper will out produce Trout this year and in 3/4 of the cats it could be by a wide margin. I don't see the same drive and intensity in Trout that I see in Harper.

Can we at least get to the all-star break (or May) before we start this debate? What were Trout's April stats last year? Oh that's right 1 hit in 11 at bats. SEND HIM TO THE MINORS!!! And as far as Harper, he was drafted mostly in the first round this year. Most are not surprised with his early numbers.
