I'm sure we all just love that game being in save territory the whole game for your soon to be save, but suddenly that wonderful one run + in the 8th or 9th puts that save out of reach. Every time! As I write, looks like Kimbrel might have been save killed just now.

Frustrating, but the blown save is far worse. I was cursing Greg Holland earlier today. Was practically counting my save (along with a win for Shields on a different team of mine) and then I get: 1 IP, 4 H, 1 BB, 1ER. A nice 9.00 ERA and 5.00 WHIP for the day. Goddamn relievers!

I spoke too soon on Kimbrel as it looks like he'll get the save.

Yeah; and now i'm sure the drum roll will start about them removing Holland from closer too. That's happened to me many times before too. It looks like a great day but then it turns sour in seconds. At least Shields was lights out all game though. Last week, I had 4 starts in one day right........every single guy gave up 5 ER or more. Want to talk about saying f**k this game.......I said it that day.

Depending on the injuries to Bailey and Hanrahan, Koji may be pretty popular come this weekend.

not even close to last year; but then last year was out of nowhere too so i say regression to the mean with a standard deviation of 1.3 era and a variance of ..............
i looked at those bids for all leagues; looks like some guys got mcgee an peralta this week in case rodney gets pulled. not a bad thought.
