Harvey vs Yankees

Very interesting matchup tonight, with Matt Harvey pitching against Kuroda and the Yankees. The Mets can't hit and Harvey is faced an injury depleted Yankee team, plus he is pretty good, so appears to be a great pitching matchup so far.

I am watching the game on SNY and they are doing an excellent job of interviewing Doc Gooden in the stands, as Harvey is pitching, with Gooden giving his view of what Harvey should throw.

Good old fashioned pitching duel going on.

Good game... The Doc called the pitch sequence on Cano's 2nd AB in which he was explaining how to get him out. He called the ptich too that got Cano striking out, a 3-2 slider down and in.

Nice win for the Mets... :D First time ever that Mariano blows a save without recording an out.
