The best 6-9 pitcher in history

Just had the privilege to watch Stephen Strasburg throw a shutout against the fighting Phils....this is the second Sunday this year where I have seen him completely dominate the Phillies. All of the numbers are there and yet he is 6 and 9 on the season. As the great Rich Ashburn used to say....."That's hard to believe, Harry"....

Not too difficult to dominate the Phils. I put it on par with dominating the Cubbies. ;)
Now let him do this against the Tigers, Jays, or Mets and we'll have something to talk about. :)

Good point Glenn, and the Phillies do suck this year but that's after a decade of great things...
Saddest part about this season is that they are currently 3 games behind the Mets :)

Check out Chris Sale's numbers this year.

When you factor in a winning percentage under .400, a 156 ERA+, and 9+ K's per inning; Sale could be one of the best losing Starters in baseball history. But Strasburg is in the conversation, unless he keeps throwing shutouts and winning games :D
