Another week goes by and I spend more money picking up players that I dropped the week before. This week was especially difficult because I decided to drop the 68th ranked player in the NFBC. We're all dropping and picking up closers at this point depending on where we are in the standings. But to drop a position player with power is difficult, especially when you're keeping much lower ranked players.

This weeks drop is MARK TRUMBO

This one could come back to haunt me

Wow! I'm guessing that to drop Trumbo you must either have an unbelievable team (including better 1B, CI, and five better OF) or due to strange circumstances HR and RBI no longer are a priority. Kind of wish I could add a Trumbo to a few of my teams (although I'm running out of cash in my two FAAB leagues). I wonder what he will go for next week.

I'm thinking of dropping David Wright from my two FAAB teams, but that's solely due to my growing pessimism that he'll make it back this season.

You are correct Mike, I have a 21 HR lead and am second in RBI's by 26, the RBI's concern me. This league will be contested right until the end. I also dropped Coco Crisp in this league. Interestingly enough I decided to keep Adam LaRoche over Trumbo. He should fetch a bigger bid come next Sunday. The bidding should be pretty interesting.
