FINAL 3 WEEKS!!

Its about that time. The final 3 weeks. Lineup decisions that will make or break. The difference of winning $40K or 4K. Needing wins and Ks but also trying to keep WHIP and ERA from slipping and trying to decide whether to start CC Sabathia in a 2 start week at Baltimore and Boston. Ervin Santana against Cleveland and Detroit. Miguel Gonzalez against the Yankees and Toronto.

Its a crazy week. The last two weeks will probably be even worse, but this week seems like the one that will make or break me. If I leave the 2 start pitchers out, I have better chance at keeping my WHIP and ERA at a good level or improving, while suffering in Wins and K's. The smart move would be to play it safe, but if Sabathia has two good starts, that puts my teams in that much of a better situation. He bombs and I'm dead.

Wow, exciting week and only the big boys survive. Good luck to everyone having a chance to win something...

I hear ya, I've been counting down the weeks for a month now and each week seems to get bigger and bigger. I have the same dilemma with the NY two start week match-ups. I've watched my ERA and WHIP erode the last couple of weeks in the Super. I am going to be forced to sit Nova. The Baltimore start is manageable. I don't think I can stomach thinking all week of him pitching in Boston. They have scored 57 runs in their last 5 games!! It would be tough to throw anyone in Fenway right now unless absolutely necessary. That's just me though and my start - sit decisions this year have been pathetic.

I'd be able to enjoy this last three weeks if it wasn't this Lowy fellow reeling me in, in the Super. It will be quite a finish. :D

Ha Joe! :D About a week ago, with my team thriving and cutting your lead to 3 points, I honestly started to believe I could catch you. Of course, you then stopped toying with me and stepped on the gas, leaving me and the rest of the league in the dust once again. :?

It ain't over as Yogi would say, but it sure in hell is getting close. I hope I have one more run in this squad and can close the gap again, but I'll need your help to get there. Something tells me you won't be so obliging. :)

Good luck the rest of the way Joe and thanks for putting this Super together. No matter the finish, it's been a fun league and a great challenge.

Hi Glenn,

I missed you in Vegas for the Football drafts, I was so distracted watching the baseball. The Super this year has been quite humbling. I've been so fortunate to avoid the devastating injuries that all of us have to deal with. We have a long ways to go, but I am in the drivers seat. We'll know a lot more after next Tuesday as I have a lot of pitchers going in the next few days. I love the fact that most teams are playing it out.

I spend such a disproportionate amount of time on this team. I'm in a dog fight to win the one main event team I entered and I practically ignore it, which is so hard to understand given my competitive nature.

I respect the masses here and hope I can hang on for my career year.

Good Luck Everyone. 15 days of baseball and the Fantasy season is over. Then we can all root for the TIGERS!!!!
