Eric Heberlig Wins 2013 Rotowire Online Championship

CONGRATS to Eric Heberlig of New Cumberland, Pennsylvania as he is the 2013 winner of the Rotowire Fantasy Baseball Online Championship and the $70,000 grand prize that goes with it. Eric finished 1st in this competition and 2nd overall in the NFBC XII for an incredible season. CONGRATS Eric on a historic season.

Eric won the March 24th 8 pm ET Rotowire FB Online Championship League with 114 points, earning 95 percent of all available points. He actually had two teams in the Top 5 for much of the season and even had two teams 1-2 overall at one point. But The Krukster was the one to emerge as the overall champion, besting Michael Becker by 500+ points for the overall title as it finished with 10,583.0 points, earning 92.8 percent of available points. Remember, we had a record 1,140 teams in the Online Championship this year, a mighty group to beat. Rounding out the Top 5 were William Voorhees, Jaime Baird and Timothy Folk.

Eric actually won two NFBC XII league titles and finished 2nd and 8th overall. He also won another Rotowire Online Championship league title and had a couple of 2nd place finishes. It was a fantastic season for someone who said he just loves to draft online and loved the nightly chances to do just that.
