Exactly 36, and about 20 more on the road.

Imagine the chaos if the DCs had started today at 1pm already?

Top 10 now? I'd say probably.

I think people pretty massively overrate the park HR factors and massively underrate batting behind Miggy.

Neat fact....Tigers scored 66 more runs than Rangers did and had a .023 higher OBP.

The real winners here are Verlander, Scherzer, and Sanchez

Fielder hit 24 home runs at Miller Park in 2011 enroute to 38 home runs that year, then he hit 18 at Comerica Park in 2012 enroute to 30 home runs in 2012. Last year he hit 13 home runs at home and 25 on the season. He will hit plenty of HRs to right field in Texas and if he can get his personal life in order he will be a solid cleanup hitter behind Beltre and with Cruz behind him.

Cruz is not a given in Texas.
Fielder was enough of a deterrent to not pitch around Cabrera. Cabrera will see a lot of free passes to set up double plays from VMart.
If VMart plays more 1B and Kinsler takes over at 2B,Detroit starters are not winners.
Detroit gets more money to possibly sign Scherzer/Nathan. The middle of the lineup takes a hit.

25 or so... Heat, No Miggy and overall decline in his skills... Just as an example, look how fast Howard fell. Prince is 5-11 and 280 lbs, entering age 30... buyer beware...

Heat is over rated. Besides the Catcher and pitcher, baseball is a game of sitting on your ass for half the game and standing for the other half, interrupted by a few seconds of possible exertion.

Maybe a few less rbi. Other than that, a player hitting in front of a player like Fielder is not near as important as who has his back.

Prince has missed very few games in his career. Ryan Howard is a poor comparison. Howard's fall was spurred by his achilles.

Still, I don't give Fielder THAT much of a bump. I see him being taken early in earlier drafts. Later in the more important drafts.

Freakin' Pablo Sandoval has ruined my 'Fat means more at bats' theory. But, it applies to Fielder, he is a game playing machine.

Case can be made that Kinsler will have more fantasy value this coming year than Fielder. Fat players in Texas Heat... Buyer Beware...

With all the first round flameout's the past 2 seasons, Prince will be right there with Kemp, Pujols, Bruan if taken in the first round this year as high risk picks.

I guess Kinsler could have a better year than Fielder. Anything is possible. I do know that there are not a whole lot of stolen bases in front of Miggy. A stolen base only creates an open base for pitchers to walk Miggy. It has limited Austin Jackson, I expect the same to happen to Kinsler.
An open base leading to a Cabrera walk will probably happen a lot more without Fielder behind Miggy.
If taking away most of Kinsler's base stealing ability and putting him in a larger park, taking away some home runs, I think he loses luster as a fantasy player.
He is two years older than Prince and has been riding a downhill slope by way of statistics himself. Even worse than Prince.
From 32 to 19 to 13 homers in a homer ball park.
From 30 to 21 to 15 stolen bases where he was free to run.
From 121 to 105 to 85 runs scored.
Maybe it was the heat?

It's pretty shocking to see how high Fielder's value has risen since the trade to Texas. Before the trade, I saw two different NFBC style drafts where he went 29th both times. But since the trade, he's gone 12th, 13th, 17th, 18th and 22nd in NFBC Draft Champions Leagues. That's a hefty rise thanks to the move from Detroit to Arlington. Is it justified?

Oh, and Prince is going to wear No. 84 this year!! I haven't heard why yet, but hitting cleanup for the Texas Rangers is No. 84, PRINCE FIELDER!! :D

Prince Fielder on changing to No. 84: "I just wanted a new number. It’s just fresh. I think it works. That’s as deep as I’m going."

Former tiger Denny McLain is claiming that Prince's wife was having a relationship(s) with one or more players in the tigers organization. He insinuates that this is the reason that Avasail Garcia was traded. He further contends that other players were involved and this is what lead to his divorce and sub standard season.

I thought the tigers gave up to much to get Iglesias so this make a little sense. But you have to consider the source here as well. Denny McLain has had many issues since leaving the game that have ruined many of families' in the process,so I give him very little credibility here.
