[/QUOTE]I too was shocked Greg let that drop happen- if the bar is Kenny Rogers in 05. More an obervation than a complaint- because I should have voiced concerns about that drop earlier and missed it.

I'd put the roster up, but he might have been his best outfielder on his team at this point of the season. He picked up Chris Burke when he dropped him.

Looks like some other outfielders were Cabrera (Melky variety), Baldelli, Reed Johnson, Burke, and Emil Brown. Though you can hardly argue benignly about that group of studs, I think it is an allowable drop, given that there is no way GA starts tearing it up again and there are free agents going forward that might do just as well (Kubel, for instance). If GA is going to make that big of a difference for someone, it probably isn't a very good team to begin with.

Anderson not the same as he once was. A bad move sure but not as bad as a move in my Feb. 21 $100 Sat league, A.J. Burnett was dropped for Julio. I'm not sure but isn't Burnett do back by mid June?

I suppose the difference is that Rogers was off to a great start last year, whereas Anderson is not doing great (so far) in 2006.

I also chose to wait to see how long he was going to get suspended, but once I took him out of the free agent pool it was tough to put him back in. Again, I was trying to make all 20 leagues fair last year and one league having an All-Star pitcher available via free agency while 19 other leagues didn't have that free agent opportunity seemed like it needed to be addressed last year.



Not to sidestep this move, but what is Garret Anderson's problem this year? Against lefties, he seems to bail out on every pitch like a young Little Leaguer. He also doesn't seem to have the drive left in those legs anymore. It's almost painful to watch him hit at times.



Hard to tell my tone? I must be the easiest guy to figure out on these Message Boards. I think you can tell when I'm really mad and when I'm just responding to words like "shocked." I'll use the mad face when I'm really !

I would think that GA has seen normal decline for his age, especially in power numbers--where it counts--and especially for a guy who's developed arthritis.



I think TEX is a good bet for rebound. It's not like his numbers were bad with rules in place last year.
