The List. What about a Slow Draft portal?

It's a lot of work that STATS doesn't need or want but it is an issue that seems to keep coming up and why not discuss a possible solution?

In my spare time (does any roto player seriously have any spare time?) I've been taking an online course to get a certificate in Web Page Design through Penn Foster.

Would there be any interest in the ability to go to a 3rd party website to get on "the list" for an NFBC slow draft and have the website determine through a handful of qualifiers which group of "like minded" drafters you'd best be suited in joining?

There would be no current list of names published as to who else would be in the league thus you're all anonymous but would only fill the league with drafters who have expressed a desire to pick 6+ rounds per day or 1-2 rounds per day or something in between.

I'm assuming it would take a while to get decent participation but I envision a time where the guys who just don't care would still be signing up directly through NFBC but anyone else who wanted to avoid the bullying (really?) and frustration we currently experience would go add their name to "the list."

No charge, of course. What's in it for the operator of the 3rd party site?

I suppose if the site got enough traffic there could be an opportunity for some advertising revenue. But what I'd like to see is after a long period of demonstrating interest and producing list after list of full DC leagues for STATS there would be a justification for some rebates or "store credit" at NFBC.

It's only an idea for now. STATS might have a bunch of reasons they wouldn't allow such a site to exist. I don't know.

But it seems to me that there's a want/need for something to change in slow draft signups and an opportunity for STATS to get increased registration by running leagues where drafters are not frustrated but left with such a great experience they can't wait to sign up for more.

Thoughts? I need input from as many as possible.
