Feel free to admit I was right

So, earlier in the fantasy year, I got a bunch of grief for valuing Vets over Rookies. I got all kinds of crap for:

Thome

Schilling

Nomar

Rolen

So, please feel to respond and admit that sometimes, players actually DO regress towards the mean...

These four characters are more healthy, not less risky; there's a difference. They still need to get through another half season.

At this point, they have done enough to justify their pick round. For example - if Thome blows out his elbow tomorrow, you could sit him, put in a decent sub and get probably another 10hr from the slot. 36hr would justify a 5th round pick.

Everything from here on out is gravy....

Good point, actually. That was my thinking when I took Drew in the 15th--that I'd get at least a half season from him and a half season of replacement level and it was well worth the pick. Of course, he hasn't been as productive as I'd hoped, but at least he's still on the field.
