Didn't make me laugh at all. To be honest just the opposite.

I didn't watch the clip, but why are you so Grumpy?
We got closer to selling out the Super 12 big guy. Can I consult with you when
the brackets come out? I need to see who you like so I can make some cash MONEY!

Because I'm a Sox fan, I decided to bring back the video for another look...still makes me laugh..you could even substitute the cake for $$$....not a big fan of the contract he received but....what does everyone else think of the signing?

Sandoval is a very clutch hitter come October play-offs. That being said, and it should not be ignored, I thought it was a big over-pay for a 3B with pretty "average" seasonal stats. Perhaps he'll show more power at Fenway, but the guy seems so far to be a 15-20 HR guy who drives in maybe 80, with no speed, a decent-to-good batting average, and is an average fielder.
One of the guys on the MLB network - Steve Phillips maybe - was commenting before the signing that Sandoval's career hitting stats really were not very different from those of Billy Butler ... and he's right. Butler got $30M for three years. If you want to give Sandoval credit for playing the field and being a clutch hitter come October, that's fair, but the contract still seems way high. I suppose he might be worth a little more for the Red Sox if he frees up the piece needed to land Hamels.
I suspect the Red Sox will get a decent return on the contract for the first half, but come to regret it during the second half of the term. Of course, I'm a Yankees fan, so I hope Panda blows up to over 300 pounds on the chowdah.

I hate it. I think it means the BoSox will trade Middlebrooks to the Braves!
