SOLD OUT: March 21st NFBC Primetime Online

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Sun Mar 09, 2014 5:22 pm

Okay, with a $100,000 grand prize and less than 170 teams signed up for the NFBC Primetime, it's time to GET SERIOUS HERE!! I don't like to push ROI as a top benefit of any of our contests, but this 12-Team Main Event will again have the best ROI in the NFBC. It's unfortunate that we continue to struggle with this format and now this price point, but some folks will enjoy the bargain that is out there.

But we'll do everything we can to still get as many leagues as possible. Let's start with First Weekend and work our way back.

We have 1 full Primetime League in New York and 1 full Primetime league in Las Vegas.

We have 3 Online Leagues that weekend that I think we can fill. We have 4 SPOTS LEFT for two of these leagues and 5 SPOTS LEFT for one of them. C'mon, let's fill these up and then push for a strong Second Weekend. If anyone has a Main Event already and wants a shot at the $75,000 cash bonus for winning both overalls and wants to save on Events Fees, give me a holler at 715-254-5553 or at [email protected]. I'll convince you how great this contest is!! 8-)

You can move from a later Primetime date to one of these if you want, but we are intent on filling these up and getting to 200+ teams if possible. We're not giving up. So take a look at these first three Online leagues (no phone hookups) and let me know if any of these dates work for you. We have time to fill each one yet. Thanks all and good luck.

We are happy to welcome back NFBC Charter Members Dave Cushard and Jeff Price to our national events as they teamed up to grab the last spot in the NFBC Primetime Online on Wednesday, March 26th. Dyv was one of the very first signups for our 2004 NFBC Main Event and we're glad to have him and Jeff back in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize. Dyv has been busy making millions and putting girls through college, but we miss his wise-ass comments on the Message Boards!!! He was one of the best in the early years when it came to posting.

Glad to have those guys back and we're glad to fill up another Primetime League. Here's the final lineup card for that one:

I would have thought this would have been a hot time with the FBPC going under. I think they had close to something like 2 full leagues at this time, but only 6 guys that were signed up for the FBPC at this time want to come over and do a Primetime instead? This should be an easy one to fill with FBPC guys. As for 9pm ET, the 8pm start that the FBPC was doing works better for me, as I also have a 10pm ET draft too, but I would rather do it at 9pm and double duty for an hour than not at all.

Is the Sunday, March 23 9pm Primetime a dead stick now?
WE HAVE 5 SPOTS LEFT for the Sunday, March 23rd Primetime Online, I think. I need to send out an email to see if folks on the current list can do a night draft. We started with a few owners at 1 pm ET, the Registration still says 8 pm and then Mr. Lowy requested 9 pm. But we do have 7 owners who indicated a desire to fill this one. Let's see if we can take this one to the finish line now.

Here's the 7 owners who want to do this on Sunday, March 23rd and we're up for it, too. If you are on this list, let me know if 9 pm would work for you to get Mr. Lowy in. Otherwise we currently have it at 8 pm ET. Here you go:
