We had a very nice push for the Wednesday, March 26th Main Event last week and now it's time to finalize plans there. We will keep Registration open for this event through Wednesday, but it's time to get pro-active and make sure we can close out all of these leagues. We're not at a perfect number yet.
We have 7 owners in Las Vegas who have agreed to draft their teams Online. I have an Executive Suite at the Bellagio that I will wine and dine them during their draft and I will email all of them today to make sure we are on the same page with this. With them, we have a total of 79 teams signed up for this date, which is obviously 4 more than 5 full leagues and 11 short of 6 full leagues. If we don't get to 90 teams in the next day, then we'll reach out to those final signups for this date and see if they can move to Saturday, March 29th Online. We will add at least one more league Online for that date, I'm sure of that.
That being said, we do know that some owners who signed up for Wednesday, March 26th Main Event Online were flexible with their schedules and they said they could do the 26th or the 29th Main Event Online. We're going to reach out to some of those owners to see if they can switch dates if needed and see if we can help both the 26th and the 29th Main Events. If you are signed up for the 26th Online and COULD do the 29th, shoot me an email at [email protected] and we'll keep you on standby. You would be guaranteed a spot in a full March 29th Online league if you switch over. Thanks to anyone who is flexible here.
We will hold out hope for more March 26th Main signups, but again it's quite possible that we will finish with 5 leagues and will need help to get everyone in a Main Event Online league. Thanks to anyone who can help here with their schedules.
I'll email a few owners now, but stay in touch on this. We are definitely taking signups for the March 29th Main Event and still have 4 SPOTS LEFT in Chicago and several spots Online. We are definitely on pace for 405 teams in the Main Event and with any luck one more league after that. Thanks all.
Here's the current signup list for the March 26th Main Event. The first 7 in LV and 68 Online are guaranteed spots in full leagues and we'll see if we can still get everyone in. If you can move to the 29th, contact me. Thanks all and good luck.
