Profar Done for 10-12 Weeks

Post by mattjb » Sun Mar 23, 2014 6:17 pm

The way things are going the first FAAB on Sunday is going to be very active.

Jurickson Profar has been diagnosed with a torn right shoulder muscle and will be sidelined for the next 10-12 weeks.
The dynamic young infielder dealt with tendinitis in the shoulder in the early part of spring training, and felt pain after trying to turn a double play in the sixth inning of Sunday's Cactus League contest. He'll undergo surgery to repair the problem, and the Rangers are hoping to have him back by mid-season. It's unclear what the Rangers will do to fill the void at second base, but top prospect Rougned Odor could merit consideration.

I changed my mind at the last minute between him and Howie Kendrick in the main event. I got lucky this time but I'm sure the fantasy gods will get me sooner or later.

We're in the same league Matt, I'm Heenan Family yep you dodged a bullet there I def would have taken Profar if he slipped to me. I had no 2b yet and there was a dropoff after Kendrick and Profar, at least in my opinion
