One of my main events is scheduled for tomorrow night. I'll be curious to see how far Darvish drops if he's only missing one start vs goes on the 15 day DL? Looks like i'll be glued to rotowire for the next 36 hours.
The pitching injures just keep piling on.

The news doesn't sound good as he's definitely missing one start and being sent for further tests . The SENT FOR FURTHER TESTS part of it is what I don't like.
Unfortunately, I have heard this kind of news already with a couple of my top pitchers in my DC's. I think I've been jaded.
We probably won't get more info then this before tomorrow night. I would have some serious knots in my stomach if I'm considering him when my pick comes up.

I'm gonna need a shot of Jose Cuervo nearby just in case I'm brave enough to take him.

Darvish's neck has structural damage; to open on DL
But of course after I pooped in my pants and clicked on the link:
No structural damage in Yu Darvish's neck; likely to open 2014 on DL
Why do I go back to this web site??

Rangers | Good news for Yu Darvish
Wed, 26 Mar 2014 11:47:16 -0700
Texas Rangers SP Yu Darvish (neck) has no structural damage in his neck after being examined by Dr. Drew Dossett Wednesday, March 26. Darvish will resume throwing Saturday, March 29, but he will not start opening day. Instead, SP Tanner Scheppers will start against the Philadelphia Phillies Monday.

Let's hope Scheppers doesn't leave Monday's start with a strained neck after repeatedly turning his head to watch a Marlin Byrd flyball leave the park.

Sounds like not so bad news for current Darvish owners.
Even with this "good news" it will be interesting to see where Darvish goes in upcoming drafts.
The neck problems are the least his worries.
It's really hard for a young healthy individual to experience significant neck issues unless invoked by acute trauma(which might have occurred when he was younger-we don't know.)
My best guess without knowing details is that the Rangers medical staff feared a bigger issue.
Darvish has a history of back spasm and hip pain. They probably checked out his spinal cord to rule out any neurological issues. But I'm just speculating here.
Good Luck To Everybody Tonight.

reminds me of Denver Broncos WR Eric Decker. he had a subpar game in the thursday night game. in subsequent drafts the next couple days, his adp got crushed. he finished the season with fantastic numbers. i predict the same thing will happen with darvish

That might be true. But the difference is that Darvish will miss start(s).
Regardless I'm not a big fan of drafting pitchers early so I'll probably let Darvish be someone else's problem this season.
